Come Sail with Us!
Anacapa Yacht Club, located on the east side of beautiful Channel Islands Harbor, was formed in 1967 to establish a yachting organization in the Channel Islands area that emphasized sailing activities. Our primary focus is sailboat racing, but we also host a variety of social events and other activities. Memberships are available. Feel free to visit the club, meet the members, and find out more about our activities. To join, please complete our membership application. |

Yacht Racing
Anacapa Yacht Club sponsors the most active yacht racing program in Channel Islands Harbor. Our races include the Anacapa to Port race, the Wes Golemon Memorial race, the annual Santa Barbara City Race & Tequila Derby -- and of course, the summertime Wet Wednesday series. We also partner with Pierpont Bay YC in sponsoring the "Two Harbors" Fall Series. Further details regarding our racing program are available on our Racing Info pages, or contact us for more information. |

Social Activities
Anacapa Yacht Club offers a full and varied social program. Dinners follow many of the weekend races, and a "cook-your-own" barbeque follows every Wet Wednesday race. Our holiday parties and Friday Night Dinners are popular events. Our clubhouse has the best view in Channel Islands Harbor and is open for all members and guests to enjoy on weekends and holidays. |
Reciprocals
As a member of the Southern California Yachting Association (SCYA), our members enjoy reciprocal privileges at sister Yacht Clubs. Check with the club secretary for the latest list. We also offer reciprocal visitor privileges to members of other SCYA-recognized organizations. Contact us for more information or to make reservations. |
Youth Sailing
Anacapa Yacht Club has joined with other yacht clubs in Channel Islands Harbor to form the Pacific Corinthian Youth Foundation. This foundation provides activities and sailing instruction for all interested youth and acts as a stepping stone for a lifetime of sailing enjoyment. For more information on youth sailing activities, check out our Youth Sailing page (or follow the link above). |
